joanne's quiche! / week 17 - december 14th, 2009


welcome to town, joanne!
here is your quiche.

this is also an important week because we discover we can use less eggs and some milk and it makes it fluffier and better...something apparently everyone else already knew.

crust: potato latkes (in the future, fry them in small patties in small batches - so they get crispy - and not just all together.)
bottom layer: left over grits that were on the stove(made a nice addition!)
filling: sauteed spinach and mushrooms and garlic and three eggs and 1/2 cup of milk
cheese: cheddar.
just add salt and enjoy.
